Oxfam stirs up the coffee market

Coffee drinkers with a conscience can now purchase their coffee from their local Oxfam store, with the launch of Oxfam fair, an organic fairtrade coffee range.

Made to suit Australia palates, the range feature five different blends made from 100% Arabica fairtrade beans. The range is certified organic and fairtrade, which means coffee drinkers can enjoy their daily cuppa without guilt, while also supporting the work of Oxfam in combating poverty and injustice worldwide.

“Oxfam fair provides a premium coffee taste that Australians are looking for whilst supporting families and communities in developing countries by paying growers a fair price for their beans,” Oxfam’s Director of Trading, Nadine Silverberg said.

“With Oxfam fair, helping the world is as easy as having a great cup of coffee.”

Oxfam fair is available at Oxfam shops selected Coles and Woolworths supermarkets and online at www.oxfamshop.org.au
